Ray van den Berge - Background
Ray was born a long time ago in The Hague in the Netherlands. After many trips, mainly to surf the best places our blue planet has to offer, he decided that picking fruit to survive was not an option. But surfing professionally was not an option either, so reality struck and he had to study in the USA, with a scholarship for water polo and swimming.
After a long stay in Holland, South Africa and Australia, Ray finally landed happily in Austria. He started working in IT and web design in Adelaide, Australia in 1998 and has been building CMS systems since 2003. Mountain biking replaced surfing, even if there is not quite as much time for it between family life and ComfortPages.
ComfortPages GmbH
ComfortPages GmbH was founded by Ray van den Berge on March 12, 2015 and got off to a flying start with Woerle, a large cheese manufacturer in Austria.
The idea behind the founding of ComfortPages was to create a CMS system without a visible backend. The website remains the same after logging in and offers easy operation through inline editing and drag & drop functions.
The easy wwway - is the slogan, because editing is intuitive and the pre-made layouts leave no room for errors, even for customers who have no CMS or programming knowledge.
Since November 2015, smaller companies have been able to benefit from the system with the new Click & Run Website Management. With an affordable price of just EUR 204.00 (including VAT) per year, ComfortPages has been a hit right from the start.
There has been a dedicated cloud server version of ComfortPages since 2023.
